No previous experience necessary. The fast fix way to make a sprig of my covetable Everlasting Mistletoe. NB: When thinking of a date remember I will need to post your kit to you. Please note this workshop needs a minimum of 2 people to run., any classes with amounts below 2 will be notified and refunded.
You'll learn how to create the branches from floristry wire and 100% wool and cut the leaf shapes from the 100% wool felt provided. Then we'll attach the berries and leaves by hand stitching and add a final flourish with a piece of red organza ribbon. You should be able to complete a sprig within the session but you may need to finish adding some berries and leaves afterwards.
The last of of the pictures shows several bunch's and not a sprig. You'll need to buy extra materials and use what you've learned in your own time if you too want such a generous display. Or join another class!
How many?
Minimum 2 and Maximum 8 at a time - these workshops are designed to provide everybody with plenty of time for one on one attention as well as being flexible to the participants needs.
For whom?
The process used are simple but you will need to use your fingers to tension the wool when creating the branches and the hand stitching is a little fiddly. If you have arthritis in your hands or a tremor you may find parts of the process challenging and it may take you a little longer. But that's ok as I won't just disappear at the end of the workshop. You will always be very welcome to contact me regarding this or any other of my workshops.
Cancellation - sadly we cannot issue refunds for this event, however we will give you full credit towards another workshop in the future.
